The active ingredients in OstriGrow are antibodies to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the hormone that causes male and female pattern baldness, and 5α-reductase, the enzyme that promotes the formation of DHT in the hair follicle. There are also antibodies to two common skin bacteria that can interfere with hair growth.
The other ingredient is ethyl alcohol. OstriGrow needs to get into the follicles to neutralize DHT. The alcohol is a good base for counteracting the oils that could block the entrance to the follicles.
